In August and December 2024 more than 70 experts from 13 Asian countries have worked in China, Qingdao on Circular Economy action plans applying the new ISO 59000 standards.
The Chinese ISO National Standard Body SAC facilitated the workshops in collaboration with ISO Geneva and its Capacity Building Unit (CBU).
Experts from Government, Industry and the national NSBs have worked on national sector action plans for Circular Economy.
The countries that participated are China, Indonesia, Fiji, Myanmar, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, Laos and Philippines.
